To what temperature does the fuel block heat up?
The upper part of the fuel block – the front panel – heats up to 160 degrees, the lower part – the body – up to 80 degrees.
Do you need a permit to install a biofireplace?
No, no additional permissions are required. The biofireplace can be used in any room with sufficient volume, where the necessary ventilation is provided. The absence of a chimney means that the heat released remains indoors.
How is a biofireplace installed?
It is not necessary to install ventilation. However, the room must be well ventilated, it is necessary to ensure a constant flow of fresh air. When using biofireplaces, we recommend opening the window for ventilation (without creating a draft) so that fresh air enters the room and removes heat from the biofireplace. Or the room should have normal supply and exhaust ventilation.

If you plan to operate the biofireplace for 1-2 hours, it is enough to open the window for ventilation, thereby ensuring the flow of fresh air into the room. An ergonomic latch will also be a useful function in mechanical biofireplaces, by changing the position of which you can change the height of the fire, and therefore the heat output, thereby increasing the duration of comfortable operation. If you plan to use the biofireplace for a long time, the open space may not be enough. In this case, it is necessary to arrange effective supply and exhaust ventilation or an exhaust duct above the fireplace (according to the principle of installing an exhaust duct above the gas stove). In the absence of such an opportunity, it is recommended to purchase a biofireplace of smaller sizes or a biofireplace with flame control. |

Can a biofireplace heat a room?
The biofireplace emits heat and will be able to heat the room. However, it is not a heating device. When burning, a biofireplace, unlike a radiator, feeds on oxygen, so a constant supply of fresh air is necessary during its operation. The biofireplace is not used for heating. The main function of a biofireplace is decorative. For comfortable use, it is necessary to select a biofireplace depending on the area of the room (see table No. 1).

What should you pay attention to when choosing a biofireplace?

Pay attention to the quality and thickness of the steel. The thickness of the metal must be at least 2 mm for the body parts and at least 6 mm for the parts that heat up the most (the upper part of the firebox, adjusting latch, flame extinguisher). The use of thin material will not only lead to deformations when heated and loss of tightness, but also increases the risk of fire outbreak.

Check the build quality. Make sure that the seams connecting the parts of the block are even and strong. No welds are visible in good fuel blocks. Products should look complete.

Scratches and dents on the case indicate that the unit was damaged during transportation or was originally poorly manufactured.

Consider the minimum area of the room. Before choosing a biofireplace, decide on the room where you want to place it. The accumulation of carbon dioxide is dangerous for humans, so the room must be well ventilated or the supply and exhaust ventilation must be turned on. A mandatory condition for the operation of the fireplace is the influx of fresh air. For this reason, it is not recommended to install powerful biofireplaces in a small bedroom.
Can the glass crack when the biofireplace burns for a long time?

The glass that is located on the fuel block cannot flake or crack because heat-resistant fireplace glass is used. Tempered glass is used only in built-in hearths, because there is no direct effect of fire on the glass.
How to care for a bio fireplace?

The fireplace does not require special care. Dust from the fireplace is wiped with a damp cloth, and from decorative glass with an ordinary detergent. The fuel block with a steel surface is wiped with a stainless steel cleaner.
