        • Since the products are all-metal, they do not require additional assembly. Installation is quite simple and does not require special knowledge and skills. It is necessary to prepare a niche according to the assembly scheme, insert and fix the product. Therefore, we do not install.

        • All models of fuel blocks are constantly available.

        • It is not recommended to manufacture mechanical fuel blocks longer than 1200 mm. TV length restrictions are related to safety, reliability, and functionality. Based on specially developed Technical Conditions agreed with the Fire Department and the Ministry of Health.

        • You can return or exchange the purchased product within 14 days from the moment of purchase. We refund within a week, but usually on the day the package arrives.

          It is important to follow some rules:

          • There are labels and markings applied by the manufacturer;

          • Completely preserved merchandise appearance: the packaging is intact, the body is free of external damage, such as scratches, dents, etc.

          If you refuse products due to a manufacturing defect, you will need a statement from the service center, which officially represents the manufacturer. The manager of our store will give you detailed advice on how to get it. It is important that the document states that the breakdown is not the result of your actions.

          The fireplace must be in its original form: if it has the slightest defects on the surface, you lose the right to a replacement or refund.

          Can I change my purchase by mail?

          If you paid by electronic payment or pay on delivery, you can send back only the entire order in its entirety. If there are claims for only one item, then you will have to pay in full, and then issue a refund.

A biofireplace is the same fireplace that reproduces a real fire, only instead of firewood, biofuel is used.

The principle of operation of a good biofireplace is based on the combustion of bioethanol vapors. The biofireplace is filled with liquid biofuel, which reproduces a living saturated flame. During combustion, carbon dioxide and water are produced. Heat enters the room and water vapor humidifies the air.

  • Bioethanol is a biodegradable material that is safe for people and the environment. However, the fuel must be stored in a safe place, away from children, as it is flammable.
    • It depends on the model of the biofireplace, the size of the fuel block, the ventilation in the room and the position of the ergonomic latch (if any). Depending on the model, 1 liter of bioethanol burns for 1-3 hours.
      • We recommend using certified bioethanol of European producers (biofuel Bionlov). The use of other types of fuel can lead to the release of gases that are potentially harmful to health during combustion.
        • TM Gloss Fire biofireplaces do not smell when burning due to a specially designed internal device.

        • The smell of bioethanol occurs when extinguishing any biofireplace from all existing manufacturers.

        • In TM Gloss Fire mechanical fuel blocks, the smell during extinguishing is reduced to a minimum thanks to a separate flame extinguisher. It does not heat up, it lies separately from the unit. When quenching occurs, bioethanol vapors collect in droplets and fall inside the fuel block. The degree of smell after extinguishing is determined by the quality of the biofireplace. The smaller the smell, the better the biofireplace.

            In automatic biofireplaces, the flame height is from 40 to 200 mm. In fully functional mechanical fuel units, the fire height depends on the position of the 50-250mm ergonomic latch. In fuel blocks with limited functionality – 200 mm, in designer biofireplaces – 150 mm

 

  • Low quality fuel block.
    Those biofireplaces that do not have a structure (cheap segment or branded European fireplaces without an improved internal device) have a burning smell. Bioethanol vapors do not have time to burn, which is why the smell is formed.

  • Not high-quality bioethanol.
    An unpleasant smell can occur when burning low-quality bioethanol. Therefore, we recommend using certified bioethanol of high purity.

  • Recently finished renovation.
    The presence of extraneous vapors of paints, varnishes, etc.

In the mechanical biofireplaces of the Alaïd Style, Marapi, Katmay, Vasat series, bioethanol will burn with a blue flame for the first 5-7 minutes, then it will heat up and the color will become a beautiful yellow-hot, as when burning wood. Automatic and designer biofireplaces of the Slider series have a rich yellow flame from the first minutes of burning.



The upper part of the fuel block – the front panel – heats up to 160 degrees, the lower part – the body – up to 80 degrees.

No, no additional permissions are required. The biofireplace can be used in any room with sufficient volume, where the necessary ventilation is provided. The absence of a chimney means that the heat released remains indoors.

It is not necessary to install ventilation. However, the room must be well ventilated, it is necessary to ensure a constant flow of fresh air. When using biofireplaces, we recommend opening the window for ventilation (without creating a draft) so that fresh air enters the room and removes heat from the biofireplace. Or the room should have normal supply and exhaust ventilation.

When the room is too small, forced ventilation above the fireplace is required.

Installation of a biofireplace does not require chimneys and exhaust ducts, but it is necessary to objectively evaluate:

  • the area of ​​the room, the size of the biofireplace,

  • presence or absence of flame height adjustment, as well as

  • place of biofireplace installation (residential, public premises or street).

When choosing a biofireplace, it is necessary to take into account the area of ​​​​the room and the size of the biofireplace. If you plan to operate the biofireplace for 1-2 hours, it is enough to open the window for ventilation, thereby ensuring the flow of fresh air into the room. An ergonomic latch will also be a useful function in mechanical biofireplaces, by changing the position of which you can change the height of the fire, and therefore the heat output, thereby increasing the duration of comfortable operation.

If you plan to use the biofireplace for a long time, the open space may not be enough. In this case, it is necessary to arrange effective supply and exhaust ventilation or an exhaust duct above the fireplace (according to the principle of installing an exhaust duct above the gas stove). In the absence of such an opportunity, it is recommended to purchase a biofireplace of smaller sizes or a biofireplace with flame control.

 

When installing a biofireplace in restaurants, clubs, bars, etc. entertainment premises must be guided by the same requirements as when installed in an apartment. However, most often the area of ​​such institutions is 100 m2 or more, therefore, most likely, supply and exhaust ventilation is provided there. And this means that it is possible to choose fireplaces of large sizes.

In the case of installing a biofireplace in halls, waiting areas, offices, high-traffic areas where there is no room ventilation and the biofireplace is planned to be used for a long time to create a cozy atmosphere and attract customers, it is necessary to ensure effective heat removal from the area of ​​the fireplace. In this case, an exhaust duct device is required. Thus, there will always be a working biofireplace in the room, and visitors will not feel discomfort from excess heat and lack of air in the room.

When installing a biofireplace on the street (terrace, open veranda, barbecue and other recreation areas), the following factors must be taken into account:

  • Rain and snow falling into the internal device of the biofireplace will inevitably damage it. It is necessary to exclude the ingress of moisture into the biofireplace by means of a canopy, tent or other covering device above it.

  • Thinking wind and draft can blow the flames. The operation of the biofireplace in this case is not effective. If you have a biofireplace on the street, it is necessary to protect its open sides with glass, which will prevent blowing and stabilize the fire.

  • When direct sunlight hits the biofireplace, the bioflame becomes invisible. It is necessary to place the biofireplace in darkened places, recesses or niches.

  • The automatic biofireplace is designed for indoor use. It is forbidden to use this type of biofireplace outdoors.

The biofireplace emits heat and will be able to heat the room. However, it is not a heating device. When burning, a biofireplace, unlike a radiator, feeds on oxygen, so a constant supply of fresh air is necessary during its operation. The biofireplace is not used for heating. The main function of a biofireplace is decorative. For comfortable use, it is necessary to select a biofireplace depending on the area of ​​the room (see table No. 1).

  • Pay attention to the quality and thickness of the steel. The thickness of the metal must be at least 2 mm for the body parts and at least 6 mm for the parts that heat up the most (the upper part of the firebox, adjusting latch, flame extinguisher). The use of thin material will not only lead to deformations when heated and loss of tightness, but also increases the risk of fire outbreak.

  • Check the build quality. Make sure that the seams connecting the parts of the block are even and strong. No welds are visible in good fuel blocks. Products should look complete.

  • Scratches and dents on the case indicate that the unit was damaged during transportation or was originally poorly manufactured.

  • Consider the minimum area of ​​the room. Before choosing a biofireplace, decide on the room where you want to place it. The accumulation of carbon dioxide is dangerous for humans, so the room must be well ventilated or the supply and exhaust ventilation must be turned on. A mandatory condition for the operation of the fireplace is the influx of fresh air. For this reason, it is not recommended to install powerful biofireplaces in a small bedroom.

  • The glass that is located on the fuel block cannot flake or crack because heat-resistant fireplace glass is used. Tempered glass is used only in built-in hearths, because there is no direct effect of fire on the glass.

  • The fireplace does not require special care. Dust from the fireplace is wiped with a damp cloth, and from decorative glass with an ordinary detergent. The fuel block with a steel surface is wiped with a stainless steel cleaner.

    What are the main advantages of PB Alaid over the cheap segment?

    First of all, these are steels used in the production of this product. Such steels are used in the production of more expensive models (2 mm body, 6 mm front panel, 8 mm flame arrester). For ease of operation, there is a flame extinguisher that allows you to extinguish the flame at any time. Displaced fuel refueling point. The inside is filled with special material. It has a rich flame, as well as a high quality finish.

    MARAPI is the first fully functional fuel unit.

    The main difference from PB Alaid – the presence of an ergonomic latch.

    The ergonomic latch allows you to adjust the height of the flame, change the heat output of the fireplace, and also adjust the consumption of bioethanol. Simply put, in the absence of this function, it is impossible to operate the bio fireplace normally in the summer and autumn-spring period, because the room will be very warm and it will be necessary to turn off the fireplace.     • In the production of PB, other types of steel (more expensive) are used.

    • A fundamental difference – a specially designed internal device for blocks over 1 m long, which minimizes metal deformation at the moment of maximum heating.

    • Technical characteristics are similar to PB Katmai.

      • materials in contact with or in the immediate vicinity of the fuel block must be non-combustible (brick, metal, plasterboard, all types of stone, tiles). In the case of painting a niche, attention should be paid to the increased requirements for heat resistance of the paint.

      • The surface on which or in which the fuel block will be installed must be made on the same level.

      • The niche under the firebox should be tight and airtight.

      • The minimum height of the niche is 400 mm (from the upper part of the PB to the top of the niche)

      • The interior of the niche should be made of fire-resistant material – pink plasterboard (manufacturers such as KNAUF, LAFARGE, VELMA), brick.

      • If a protective screen is installed over the furnace, it must be made of non-flammable materials, and the minimum distance of the screen from the flame chute must be 40 cm.

      • The fireplace must be installed in such a way as to ensure its easy removal for maintenance.

      • Glass in the fireplace must be tempered or fireproof is installed as desired. It has a decorative and protective function.

The cost of the kit depends on:
